EDP DISTRIBUIÇÃO

The aim of the vocational courses for Electrical Network Technicians is to train technicians to organize, guide and execute the construction, maintenance and repair of faults, in equipment or materials, of networks power distribution systems in low, medium and high voltage, as well as associated works, namely automation and control circuits, signaling and protection, according to safety standards, environmental protection and specific national and international regulations. The Electrical Network Technicians trainig course it's included in the National Qualification Catalog of ANQEP, and as the vocational courses model scheme is characterized by an internship in a work context in the company of 1400 hours. With a high rate of employability this course has recognition of competences in the EU, and promotes the mobility of workers in the sector, at national and international level. The funding of the courses is shared between the Ministry of Education and EDP.

 

ALSTOM/GE

​Up to the present date, were done 4 two-year vocational courses, with annual start since 2013, and as the vocational courses model scheme is characterized by a professional training program during an internship in a work context in the company of 1400 hours. The aim of the courses is to train technicians in a specialization of heavy metalworking, to prepare, organize, orient and perform the work of manufacturing, repairing, or adjusting construction components in compliance with applicable safety, hygiene and environmental protection standards.The course for Technicians in Metallic Construction Components is new and part of the National Qualification Catalog of ANQEP, has recognition of competences in the EU and a high rate of employability in ALSTOM/GE. With full success rates promotes the mobility of workers in the sector, at national and european level. The funding of the courses is shared between the Ministry of Education and ALSTOM/GE.

PT (PORTUGAL TELECOM/MEO)

The Telecommunication Technician vocational course, level IV, prepares the students to carry out the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic and telecommunications equipment and systems, ensuring the optimization of its operation, respecting the norms of security of people and equipment. This vocational trainig course it's included in the National Qualification Catalog of ANQEP, has recognition of competences in the EU, and promotes the mobility of workers in the sector, at national and international level. The funding was shared between the Ministry of Education and PT, Portugal Telecom. As the vocational courses model scheme this course is characterized by an internship in a work context in the company of 1400 hours and has a high rate of employability.
